NADA's Historic Working Committee Meeting Concludes In Rara

The historic working committee meeting of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has concluded in Rara Lake. The association held a working committee meeting at Rara at an altitude of 2,990 meters on Friday morning.

Addressing a meeting of the working committee at the scenic Rara in the remote district of Karnali, Dhruba Thapa, President -NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal, said, "Although Karnali is really beautiful, it is yet to be developed due to the lack of necessary infrastructure development. Hence, we urge all the concerned stakeholders to develop this region by investing in the necessary infrastructures.

Along with the meeting, an interaction program was also organized with the Karnali Automobiles Association of Karnali on the premises of Rara Lake. At the interaction program, Bhadra Bhandari, President of Karnali Automobiles Association, expressed his views on the construction of transport infrastructure, construction of special auto zones at the initiative of the state government and central government, operation of the capacity building program for businessmen and inter-state relations.

Replying to a question raised during the interaction program, NADA Chairman Thapa said that they had given written suggestions to the government on many issues during the upcoming budget formulation process. At the program, Krishna Prasad Dulal, the outgoing chairman of NADA, said that the problems coming from the local level should be solved to make the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal stronger. The program was conducted by NADA General Secretary Surendra Kumar Upreti.

Similarly, an interaction program was also held at Siddhartha Hotel in Nepalgunj on Saturday regarding the problems in the automobile sector in and around Nepalgunj. Chairman of Lumbini Automobiles Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai was also present on the occasion.

Under its social responsibility, NADA provided financial assistance to Padma Bahadur Rawal, who is working in Karnali as a tourist guide, Rs. 15,000 in cash to help in the education of Rawal's two children. The NADA members also expressed their commitment to providing employment to Padma Rawal's family members in Kathmandu or Janakpur.
